I just came back from Jerangkang Waterfalls yesterday night. It has been a great trip. A good thing i was added in the trip in the last minute on the last day of the Endau Rompin recce trip! During the trip, its the first time for me that I never slept in the tent that we pitched up during the trekking trip. Qingyong, Junjie and me slept on a tapolin mat, just beside the waterfalls, on the rocks for the whole night, on a slope. During the night itself, a few times when I wake up, I found myself sliding off and have to keep pulling myself up and in the morning, our whole tapolin mat slided down quite a considerable distance. A good thing we never fall into the waterfalls or else the result would be quite disastrous! Haha!! :)
Yesterday before reaching the town of Kuantan, we also went to a roadside stall to have a feast of durians, but it falls short of our expectations as the durians there totally cannot make it, I think the ones I ate in Singapore could easily compare to that store, or even better. But maybe its because the durian season is next month so many of the durians is not that ripe, so should not complain that much, maybe next month should go have a feast of durians again, maybe in Singapore again.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_V-mWPmQtVmQ/SCpmxn5vYlI/AAAAAAAAAAk/2ZFcwstpZCw/s400/IMG_2739.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5200081722463445586" />

Then Monday morning, Junjie, Weiling, Jingchu and I went to LT4 at 10am to attend the briefing session for FOC by the Student Union. We learned quite a bit of things there for example the format of the budget etc. After that, we went to see the Nanyang House Fuction room for the suitability of the venue of the SP night. A pity the function room is too small to house 100 people and we decided to go to hall function room instead. After that, we went to wash the Jerangkang Waterfalls' stores at the SRC. Then after that, Jingchu went to meet his friend for lunch and Junjie went for his BBQ at Clementi. After all the stores has been returned, Weiling and I decided to try out the Sakae Sushi at school. We tried the buffet in the end, it was quite nice. Then Jingchu joined us after his lunch appointment and we 3 chatted for quite a while there. Then in the evening, I followed Mike and Weiling to Bugis for their meeting with the Biz Mags since I got nothing to do until the night cycling vehicle recce.

The vehicle recce was quite fun, and it makes me go through the route again, to make me more familiar with it, as I forgotten the route already. After the whole thing has finished, Jasmine, Liping, Jean, Junjie and I went for supper near school, after I topped up my car to full tank. The vehicle recce only used up $4.85 of petrol, quite little sia. After supper, I fetched all of them home and I reached home at 5.30am, the waking up timing of my mother, haha, while I went to sleep at around 6am in the morning. Enough being said, its time to go back to do my Logistics timeline and World of Warcraft!!

The last of my examinations are finally over! Hope all my hard work have not gone to waste, with me studying in school for the past 2 weeks, except the few days before my Stats Paper, I went home so that I could fetch my father from the airport. Well, today Stats Paper is generally manageable, but the question on linear programming was a little tough. Hope that I can still score at least a A- for thi paper overall.

Hmmm, for my AA102 paper, its even easier than last sem's paper, it’s a pity I could not finish or else I think a A+ for the entire paper would be within my grasp too. But after the paper, the course coordinator returned our AA102 group project and to my utter dismay, my group only got a C and it constitutes like 20% of the entire coursework. Although my other 30% that constitutes coursework should be relatively alright, but I think this would pull down my grade to a certain extent. Just hope my final exam can pull up my final grade to at least a B+ and I will very happy already...I will even open a bottle of champagne to celebrate!! Haha. Then my the other papers is still ok, although there are some tough parts, sure hope my GPA can average to be at least 4.5 this sem.

After my exams, I immediately drove to Jurong Point with my friend to buy World of Warcraft battle chest so that I could start playing a game, other than my PSP. Cuz now that exams are finally over, other than going out with friends, I can play WoW and my other games to my heart’s content, not to mention anime and stuff. But i also have FOOT stuff to do, and end of next month still have reservist, so I don't intend to work, and so time is really on my side!

I can't wait for tomorrow to come, where I can start celebrating my 22nd birthday without any exam worries. But still on this 22nd birthday of mine, it will not be like last year, I think there will be one less person to celebrate with me. I think even if she celebrates for me, the feeling would not be like last year as both of our status has changed. I think that is the only regret and pity I would have for my 22nd birthday! For all of you still having exams, all the best and hope that you guys ace all of them!!

Another cool episode of Naruto Shppuuden, there's 2 episodes this week!

Online Videos by Veoh.com

Since there was no OB seminar yesterday, I had no lessons for the whole of yesterday. But yesterday morning, Dian Min invited me to join their studying group for the exams and she sent me an intensive study plan for these 2 weeks, like quite shiong: the 6 of us would finish studying everything by 11th April and complete the allocated past year exam papers and we would compare answers and even share the B summary notes. But I think all of that will be worth it once the results are out. If I have a better GPA this sem, I'll have to thank Dian Min and also to Liping for constantly clearing my doubts for Jap! Below is my first picture for this blog: a screenshot of the first few days of the exam revision timetable that Dian Min had come up with. I think with her study plan, I'll be more organised and able to concentrate more and not deviate to other stuff like Sem 1.

Then yesterday around 12.30 in Canteen B, Weiling, Jingchu, Liping, Zhiqiang, Jean, Ee Ching and I celebrated Junjie's 22nd birthday. Although he was wearing formal for his marketing presentation later in the afternoon, its like he dressed up for his birthday like that. Hope he had a wonderful and fruitful birthday yesterday!

I was also quite happy yesterday because I found out my average OB coursework is A- and that accounts for 60% of the total grade, so I think for the final exam there is hope of scoring an A. Although I have a friend in the same seminar whose average is a high A/low A+, I'm already very satisfied with my coursework already! Now, its time to go back to my practicing of past year papers for Stats and to prepare for tomorrow's Stats quiz...hope it'll be easy and that I'll score better this time round. Hope that my future entries will be able to put up more pics and not the above those kind.

I have decided to change my template for my blog because my old template would remind me of what happened last Saturday night. I think its time to move on and not brood over it anymore. Although I say that, I think that saying that I have forgotten about the unhappiness and stuff I would be lying, but I will try my best not to think about it and move on with my life, especially with the examinations nearing so soon.

I think this week the only happy things that happened to me is that I received a lot of encouragement from my friends that make me feel better and not be that upset that I would be had not been for them. I think without them, I would have a hard time surviving this week. Thanks everyone! You know who you guys are right? Other than that, during my OB Seminar this week, I received back my Creative Assignment and to my surprise, I actually got an A-, higher than the average of my Seminar Group which only got B/B+. This is because I felt some of my ideas were not very original and creative and my command of the English Language is not very proficient. I have to thank Dian Min for giving me some tips into writing this assignment and many of my other friends including Ching Siang who gave me on their take on ways that employers could enhance employee engagement, if they are an employee working in a company. I have to thank Ching Siang quite a lot, as he gave me one idea that Arnold Steward said it was very creative and original. Now I just hope that my OB coursework can at least secure a A-, then in my final exam it will be easier to score an A.

Now I would have to study Jap everyday so that by next week I would be well prepared for the listening and oral test on Week 13. Hope that I can score an A- for Jap 1 overall. This Sem I hope to raise my GPA to my desired level too. Anyway, after you guys read this post, tag on my tag-board of what you guys think of this new template of this blog ok? Since I got 8/10, so still quite happy with it. These few days I have been busy with my AA102 project and OB assignments and presentation so have not been blogging and I have been camping in S4 study room for these few nights, until midnight almost every night, damn shag sia. Later looking forward to FOOT meeting, at least got a chance to stay away from work, even for a little while. Haha

Yesterday I 'chiong' for my stats quiz tomorrow, since all my lectures today became e-lectures, since this week is NBS e-learning week. Gone through all the six tutorials and hope I will score quite well tomorrow. I think I should not go to UK for INSTEP next semester already, since I would prefer to remain in Singapore and try to raise my GPA. Another reason of why I will most probably decline this offer of INSTEP is because the approved subjects that can be studied there is very limited and one of the subjects that is approved in that UK university is AB112, Principles of Marketing but the problem here is that I am doing AB112 this semester. So I think I will give this INSTEP a miss and try again in my third year. Today I just found out that NBS is coming out with an accountancy and business double degree for the top 10% of NBS cohort and the degree duration would be lengthened to 3.5-4 years. I'm rather interested in the double degree but don't think my GPA would be good enough for this double degree and I heard that this new double degree is very tough and taxing, have a lot more core subjects to clear. Well, I just have to try my best to score well in the upcoming exams and try to get into this double degree.

This morning, as usual, continued to study for my stats quiz until around afternoon time where its time to go for my stats tutorial. The test was relatively simple, so hope I can get at least a B+ for this quiz and all my studying time would not be in vain. The tutorial ended early as the tutor saw all of us like not very interested in listening to the tutorial as a result of the quiz. Its because many of us never do this week's tutorial on confidence interval as a result from studying for the quiz, me included, feel quite guilty now, haha. We got back our stats case study that our group did before recess and we got A- for it. I feel apologetic for my group because if I had checked more thoroughly and carefully, our case study could get an A quite easily. Nevertheless, what's past is past, just have to try harder for our next and last case study that we have to do for this module.

After stats tutorial, I went to CITS to renew my cca record password and I went to Lee Wee Nam Library after that to check my CCA record. At 5.30, I then went to eat with Jasmine, Liping and Jean at Can A before my Jap lesson. We talked a little about quizzes, FOOT '08 and the mahjong game that we are going to play tomorrow. Jap is quite alright but I realise that there's a lot of vocabulary that I have to memorise in order to ace this module. So from the next entry onwards, there will be a line of Japanese every time and my msn display message will have a phrase of Japanese too. And no matter how long its going to take, I'm going to finish my creative assignment tonight before taking the first train home tomorrow morning, then night time coming back again, for the mahjong game.

Finally can find some time to blog already, the past 2 days have been quite busy with projects and schoolwork. I just finished the AA102 project discussion at FAL and just reached back hall. Right after OB, which is from 2.30pm-6.30pm, after dinner at Can B, we went to FAL and disccused on the second part of our accounting project. Today 3/5 members from my OB group, Nemo, 'pon' the 4 hours seminar as they said that since we not presenting, no point going for it, and so the seminar class was especially small today, with more people from other groups not present too. And our tutor doesn't really seem to care too.

Lets backtrack to Saturday, where the final night of my hall productions unfolds. That night my sounds management went on smoothly, with no major cock-ups except sometimes i make the phone ring too early already. One of my friend who went to see the show that night told me that the sounds at times are not very balanced, so I think I still have room for improvement. But I think I next year not joining back hall productions anymore, want to concentrate my time on studies and ODAC, maybe considering to join main comm next year, but have to see how first, not confirmed yet. Haha...After the show is over, Adrian, Loong Huat, Ching Siang and me went to the 24hr McDonalds at Liang Court to have our dinner, since many of the eating joints has already been closed, as its close to 11 already. We chatted for very long there until 12 plus then after which, I fetched them all home, since they all also stay in the east, so its rather on the way. But I made 1 wrong turn and so we more distance just to go to Bedok reservoir, blur sia.

Then today Hui Shan told me that her office politics is getting quite bad and new staff is constantly being bullied so she's not in a very good mood today. She knows that such a MNC will have office politics but didn't know it will be that bad. I hope she will come to accept them soon and know that such office politics is part and parcel of working life and there will be more of it once she graduates and enter working life. Just know how to accept them and one will feel happier. I hope she will feel better tomorrow and not be so upset anymore. I have to think of some innovative ways to cheer her up too. After my call to her just now, think she's not that bothered by it anymore. I hope her office politics would cease and she can enjoy working the rest of her IA happily.

I had my first IPPT at Maju camp 2 days ago and the results was rather disastrous. I think I need more training already. To think I actually failed 3 out of 5 stations, damn sad man! I could only do 2 chin-ups today, sbj fall short of 4cm then can pass already, worse of all I think by 2.4km, which I think can get 12 minutes plus, in the end actually got 13 minutes plus, even though it was rather cooling as it had rained a little bit. Haiz, damn demoralized sia!!! Hope I can pass on 8th of March, which I'm going to Maju Camp to retake my IPPT in the morning.

In this recess week, where people can spend their time studying or go out with their friends to do things that they like, I have QP rehearsals throughout the week, from Tuesday and will stretch all the way until Saturday, the final day of the show. I would say at DBS Arts Centre until 11 at night and would reach home near to one. Then these few days actually want to go out with my girlfriend these few days, but these few days totally no chance to. Can only see her next weekend I guess. Sort of miss her these few days man. After my full dress rehearsal on Thursday, I thought I can go back to hall 10 and play mahjong with Jasmine, Jean and Liping. But the stage manager need to see the backstage crew and the technical directors for a scene-by-scene discussion on the cue sheet sequencing and stuff. All the fastfood joints had already closed by then and so we decided to discuss at the opposite of Clarke Quay's reverse bungee. Its really surprising to know that even at 2.am, there are still people riding that attraction, quite a surprise man! And its like quite exciting, maybe I should try out there some other time. Then after discuusing all the scenes in the 2 acts, we left Clarke Quay at around 2.30 am in the morning and I gave a lift to Victoria who lives in Queenstown and thereafter, I went back to NTU, fetching Weilin and Manson back to hall and after that i went to hall 10 at around 3am in the morning.

That was the first time I started playing mahjong at3am and its quite surprising that I can actually win $1 in the end. I think its because of my winning of 1 4 'tai' and Jasmine won the most, she won $7+ i think, think is because she keeps gaming and she also won a full 5 'tai', haha. That was also the first time I know that Jean has some very 'interesting' songs, 真的看不出!!! At 6.am i drove back home to return the car back to my brother, I almost dozed off at the hignway on the way back home, almost met with a accident several times, damn tired sia. Somemore PIE is jammed. After i passed he car back to my brother, I asked him to fetch me to Pasir Ris MRT where I sat MRT back to DBS Arts Theatre for some rehearsals at 9 before our first show day. The first show day went on quite smoothly and for my sounds, I made a error in ACT 1, due to my nervousness I played the same song wrongly 2 times, really very apologetic about it. A good thing Act 2 went on quite smoothly. There's several good impromptu on the side of the cast and I think the audience didn't notice what went wrong and some of the comments given were that this year's production is better than last year. So quite happy sia, and my sounds didn't have any major cock-ups. After everything ended, I hitched a ride from Slyvie's mother who fetched me back home. Too tired to sit public trasport back home since I never slept for the whole of he previous night, damn shagged.

When I went back home, I found out that Crunchyroll has released episode 72 of DGrayMan and while waited for it to load, I called my Hui Shan and talked to her for ard 30 minutes or so about birthday stuffs and school & hall stuffs. We were also discussing whether at the end of year want to go for a overseas trip or not. Some of the places that popped up was Australia, UK, Korea, Japan and Germany. then I think I fell asleep halfway, without knowing it, think really too tired already, and under the influence of air-con and my bed, they were a perfect combination, and I didn't manage to watch my anime. When I woke up, I watched the episode of D- GrayMan at I missed and its super nice. Lavi fighting against the Noah and his combination with BookMan was quite nice, but not sure whether they can defeat the Noah and the humongous Akuma, think only Allen can save the day. Hope the next episode will be more exciting, also feel like downloading the manga so that I'll know what will happen next, can't wait for the suspense! After the final show tonight, I'll go and watch the new Naruto and Bleach episodes and have to catch up with my school work, my girlfriend and family already, neglected them for the past week or so, because of QP, just hope everything will go on smoothly tonight and it'll be more perfect than last night's show.

This morning I met up with my AA102 group members and did our AA102 group project in the Starbucks at Vivocity. The 3 of us first evaluated the Society's Home for the Aged Sick's Vision and Mission while waiting for Zhilei to come, as she had to listen to the phone interview to the organisation at Hall 12. When she came near 1, we then started our project proper. We did the first part of the project until around 7 at night when I had to leave early to go down to DBS Arts Theatre for a rehearsal for my hall productions on Friday night.

When I reached Clarke Quay, I bought a slice of smoked salmon pizza from the pizza shop beside Subway in Central, its very nice and out of this world! You guys should go and try it someday. At Far East Theatre, I practised the different sound effects and song sequences until 11 plus then we left the theatre and tried to catch the last train home. Fortunately there was still trains departing to Pasir Ris when I reached Outram Park MRT station, or else I have to sit cab home already, which have the frightening midnight charge at that time. Phew!!!

Tomorrow is my first IPPT test at Maju Camp ever since i ORD. I have put on a few kilos since then and I know my running and pull-ups are not the same as yester-year already. Just hope I can pass tomorrow, I dare not hope for a SILVER anymore, like the one I managed to get when I was in army. And most important of all, I'm sure looking forward to the game of mahjong at hall 10 after my final full dress rehearsal tomorrow night at Far East Theatre. It'll be the best if I can get the $100 award tomorrow, the $200 is a little bit out of my reach now. Haha

Yesterday night I reached home at around 1am, after my hall production's bump-in. We started the bump-in at DBS Arts Centre at around 2pm in the afternoon and Weilin started to do focusing of the lights until around 11pm at night. For me, I learnt how to use Windows Movie Maker and learnt how to edit sound files, join music files together and skim it to a continuous piece of wmv. file. I did music files of a girl screaming and a thunder composition. What's left for me to do is to record Edison's and Damon's music of their handphone ringing, hope i can finish them in the theatre later today.

On Monday night, we went to eat Seoul Garden and after not eaten there for at least 2 years, Seoul Garden have really changed a lot. The variety of food is roughly the same, with the same spread of meat and vegetables. What's different from last time is that now they have a shaved iced machine and some variety of sushi specially for dinner time. Furthermore, what is vastly different the other is that now Seoul garden uses induction heating plate rather than the usual gas stove. I think that as a steamboat buffet restaurant, its more cost-efficient and safe. We ate for quite long, and talked as we ate, and we stayed at Seoul Garden at around 2 hours. Though the food is not really fantastic, but as we talked and ate, time passes quite quickly. But I have to admit, I ate relatively a lot that night and by the time I left the restaurant, my stomach was so full that I cannot eat any morsel anymore, haha, damn full sia. Although I have an IPPT test at Maju Camp on Thursday, I think having such a good buffet dinner once in a while is well-worth it.

Then after which, we went to watch Death Note Spin Off: L Change the World. The beginning was a little boring, showing flashbacks of the past 2 movies, almost fell asleep at that part. But after the scientist got killed by the bio-virus, this movie became exciting already. Even though L only has a total of 23 days left to live due to his pact with Death, he still tried his best to help the little girl. What's more impressive is that even after the girl injected the virus into her body, L still did not abandon her and even used his utmost to help her. The climax is at the plane scene, where L took the antidote for the virus and saved the people on board. What happened up there is really very exciting man, where he single-handedly cured everyone who has been infected by the virus. My favourite part is when the plane got out of control and is on its way to crash into the viewing gallery of the airport, L ran to keep control of the plane and prevented a major catastrophe from happening. My favourite line in this movie is "even if you are a genius, you alone cannot change the world", that is very true indeed. For the last part of the movie, after L named the maths genius Near, following the manga, Near will succeed L's legacy after her dies. A pity L will die the next day. I certainly hope that there will be a fourth movie featuring Near and how he cracks cases. I quite like this movie a lot and would rate it 4/5, even though I still like the second movie of Death Note. Today I will be going to Vivo City to do my AA102 project and after which go to the theatre to continue with my hall productions rehearsal. I think the lights is going be finished by today and we can do at least 1 run of tech run later tonight, where I can start to practice with the timing of the sounds and songs. What is more important is that I can see the entrance and exit of the cast on stage so that I can on and off their respective microphones, as circumstances dictate. Hope the full dress rehearsal on thursday can go on smoothly, where the microphones will be delivered to DBS Arts Centre, SRT, Far East Theatre.

After more than 3 years of not blogging, the blogger in me has re-surfaced. After my AA102 quiz this morning, I think I kind of screwed up my excel application test, think my question 2 may have some big errors that make my entire spreadsheet have error, so came back to hall and wated some way to vent my frustrations. For very long I've always wanted to blog but lazy to create. Since this is the first day of the recess week and want to destress, my 2nd blog is henceforth born!

Today my online AA102 quiz went well, got 84%, was quite happy with my results until I went through with the excel application test, think I made some mistakes in the schedule of the cost of manufactured goods, that will probably carry the mistake to the rest of the question. Just hope I can pass this test overall and that i can secure my 20% today, but I dare not put my hopes too high.

Shall not think of the unhappy quiz anymore, think of happier things then. Tonight I will be watching the much awaited Death Note Spin Off: L Change the World. Though I heard that it pales in comparison as compared to Death Note II, hope it'll be nice to watch too. I'll also be eating a buffet dinner too, looking forward to it man!
